Founded in late 2020 with a vision of producing Premium Quality clothing at affordable prices, Different Co was created. Built on the principle of Embracing What Makes You Different, we aim to inspire people to be who they WANT to be, not who others tell them they have to be.
Created for those who think “differently” to the social norms,
Inspired by those who don't accept the limitations put on them.
In today's world there is increasing pressure from outside influences that are trying to force us to think, act and become someone we’re not. Those who try to challenge these influences and break free from this conventional way of thinking are mocked, called "weird" or "different" and eventually pushed back into the conventional way of living their life.
History has repeatedly shown us that the most influential people are the ones who despite being mocked, bullied or ostracized are the very same people who have had the biggest impacts on the world. Imagine if the minds of Elon Musk, Albert Einstein, Steve Jobs, Thomas Edison and Isaac Newton never reached their potential due to what others had to say about them.
To those who are too afraid to Embrace What Makes Them Different and instead direct their self hate onto others, calling them "crazy" and "different" in the words of David Goggins "I'm not crazy, I'm just not like you"
5% of all sales are donated to FightMND to help find a cure for Motor Neuron Disease. It takes people. Currently there is no effective treatment or cure for M.N.D, leading to an average life expectancy of 2.5 years from diagnosis. Something that we wear everyday..
Clothes aren't something we just put on everyday, but something we wear each day to represent how we’re feeling, our mood and who we are. Our goal is to not just produce the highest quality garments possible but create garments that have an impact on you each time you wear them.
We believe in doing things with care by hand, not quickly using a machine.
That's why we,
- Hand sew each sizing label into the garment,
- Hand crimp all aglets onto the draw cords,
- Apply and press all designs by hand,
Then package each garment in their own reusable travel bag.
We put our genuine love, time and energy in every step of the manufacturing process so you end up with the best product possible.
